18 Products and UX Selected for 'Excellent Design'
LG Electronics announced on the 15th that its transparent OLED modular signage (55-inch) received the Prime Minister's Award (Gold Prize) at the 'Good Design (GD) Product Selection,' regarded as the most prestigious design award in Korea.
Hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by the Korea Institute of Design Promotion, the 'Good Design (GD) Product Selection' has been held annually since 1985 to comprehensively evaluate and select excellent products based on aesthetics, originality, usability, and environmental friendliness across various fields such as products, UX, and services, awarding government certification marks. This year's award ceremony was held on the 15th at COEX in Seoul.

Along with LG Electronics' transparent OLED modular signage, which received the Prime Minister's Award, LG Electronics was selected for the Good Design award with a total of 18 products and UX, including the Korea Institute of Design Promotion President's Award (Bronze Prize) and the Korean Intellectual Property Office Commissioner’s Award (Bronze Prize). The 3D Home View UX within the LG ThinQ application received the Korea Institute of Design Promotion President's Award, and the LG Comfort Kit and LG ThinQ characters were also selected for the Good Design (GD) award.
Additionally, the Korea Institute of Design Promotion President's Award was given to ▲Whisen Objet Collection View I & II air conditioners ▲PuriCare Objet Collection Hydro Tower ▲Signature washer-dryer ▲CLOi Station (control system) and double-door delivery robot UX, and the Korean Intellectual Property Office Commissioner’s Award was given to ▲MyView Room & Style.
Furthermore, ▲Whisen Objet Collection dehumidifier ▲DIOS Objet Collection TrueFit package ▲VX washer and dryer ▲Signature washer-dryer UX ▲UltraGear OLED gaming monitor ▲Gram Fold ▲EV fast charger ▲CLOi ▲Business Cloud UX were also selected as Good Design (GD) winners.
Hwang Seong-geol, Executive Vice President and Head of LG Electronics Design Management Center, said, "This achievement adds LG Electronics’ innovative technology and a warm perspective toward society to the essential value that products provide." He added, "We will continue to offer innovative customer experiences through sustainable design based on understanding and empathy for our customers."
