"Maximizing Work Efficiency" Boram Group Introduces Robot Automation System

Boram Group announced on the 14th that it will introduce Robotic Process Automation (RP) to maximize management innovation and internal work efficiency.

RP refers to a system that automates repetitive and simple parts of work by having software robots handle them. It is a new technology that automatically performs simple tasks that need to be repeatedly processed, such as data collection, input, and comparison, using software robots for fast and accurate task execution. In the future, Boram Group plans to expand the introduction beyond the headquarters departments to each affiliate and field organization.

Starting in December, Boram Group plans to collect a total of 132 internal tasks in sales management, finance, and human resources to apply work automation. Through this RP introduction, it is expected to improve work time by about 75%. In terms of time, this amounts to approximately 60,000 hours.

Boram Group plans to automate key tasks to improve the efficiency of field departments, reducing employees' simple repetitive work and actively utilizing this in their tasks. For example, the finance team can easily secure materials such as daily cash reports and bank transaction statements. The sales management department can quickly process tasks such as monthly performance reports, automatic transfer withdrawals, deposit and withdrawal data, and event allowances through robots. Especially in areas dealing with numbers, human errors can greatly affect work progress, so using this technology is expected to save time and improve quality.

Boram Group plans to apply RP solutions linked with artificial intelligence (AI) in the future and will work on system improvement and task advancement.

A Boram Group official said, "This RP solution introduction is expected to be another industry innovation that can save time and costs," adding, "Like many cases in the industry where innovative systems have been built to achieve high performance, we will maximize work efficiency by investing time and resources in core tasks with high added value beyond simple repetitive work."
