Inspects Noise Prevention and Traffic Order Management at Test Sites, Fully Supports Examinees

Senior officials of Pohang City visited 12 test sites within Pohang on the 14th, when the 2025 College Scholastic Ability Test was held, to encourage examinees, parents, and volunteers.

On that day, Vice Mayor Jang Sang-gil visited Pohang Idong High School and delivered a message of support, saying, "I hope that the examinees, who have prepared diligently for a long time, will remain calm and demonstrate their abilities to the fullest to achieve the desired good results."

He also encouraged and expressed gratitude to the parents who have worked hard to support their children and the volunteers who quietly provide traffic assistance every year.

Furthermore, he inspected noise prevention and traffic order management around the test sites and urged the relevant personnel to ensure that examinees can focus on their exams in a safe and comfortable environment until the test ends.

For the 2025 College Scholastic Ability Test, a total of 4,334 examinees (an increase of 107 from the previous year) took the exam at 12 test sites in the Pohang area.

Pohang City focused its administrative efforts on supporting examinee convenience by establishing transportation and traffic measures to ensure the smooth conduct of the exam, implementing noise prevention, and preparing safety plans to cope with adverse weather conditions.

In addition, immediately after the exam, the city plans to strengthen youth protection activities by conducting joint inspections around schools and areas densely populated with harmful establishments to prevent youth delinquency and safety accidents.
