On the 14th, Gyeonggi Yeoncheon-gun announced that executives of the World Military Look Festival Committee (Honorary Chairman Kim Seong-won, Chairman Baek Ho-hyun) visited the 5th Armored Brigade (Brigade Commander Kim Byung-gi), subordinate units of the 28th Division, subordinate units of the 5th Division, and subordinate units of the 25th Division on the 12th to deliver consolation money and other support.

The committee stated that they successfully completed the military cultural festival held from the 12th to the 13th of last month with equipment support from the local military units under their jurisdiction, and that they visited the military units to express their gratitude during the year-end and New Year season.

At the event, Kim Byung-gi, commander of the 5th Armored Brigade, said, “We are grateful for the special interest and affection shown every year to boost the morale of the military personnel,” adding, “In deep appreciation, I present a letter of thanks on behalf of all the soldiers.”

Chairman Baek Ho-hyun said, “Although there are many festivals nationwide, this is already the 8th time the military cultural festival has been held in Yeoncheon, a military area. Successfully completing it has been a great source of strength,” and added, “I hope this military cultural festival will not be an event for a few people but will be reborn as an event for freedom, peace, and unification for all citizens who have sacrificed for national security.”

Meanwhile, the World Military Look Festival Committee, a corporation, visits military units every year after the military cultural festival to encourage the soldiers and boost their morale.
