Changwon Police Station Successfully Holds Masan Welfare Family Volunteer Association Unity Pledge Event

Changwon Mayor Hong Nampyo: "Practice Sharing and Take the Lead in Promoting Volunteerism"

On the 13th, Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam held the 2024 Masan Welfare Family Volunteer Association Unity Pledge Event with the attendance of about 300 members of the Masan Welfare Family Volunteer Association.

At the event, Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City, provincial and city council members attended the ceremony, which included an awards presentation for meritorious volunteers, viewing of volunteer activity videos, a volunteer pledge, and a member social gathering.

During the ceremony, 36 outstanding volunteers who were recognized for their dedicated volunteer work for the local community and neighbors were awarded plaques and certificates of appreciation, encouraging their efforts so far.

Jeon Youngbae, President of the Masan Welfare Family Volunteer Association, said in his address, “I sincerely thank the members who have tirelessly engaged in various activities since 2004. Let us become a volunteer association that works together to develop even more vibrant activities on the occasion of the 20th anniversary.”
