JYP Entertainment surprised fans by revealing the news and poster image of the Tokyo concert, part of the 30th anniversary debut concert 'Still JYP,' on its official Japanese SNS channel on the afternoon of the 12th.
The Japan concert will be held over two days, February 20 and 21, 2025, at Tokyo Dome City Hall. This will be Park Jin-young's first solo concert in Japan in about two years since the January 2023 concert 'GROOVE BACK IN JAPAN.'
Park Jin-young is enjoying high popularity in Japan, leading the success of the global audition program series 'Nizi Project,' which produced the mega girl group NiziU and boy group NEXZ.
Along with the program's popularity, as a K-pop representative producer with outstanding insight and strict self-management, the 'living legend' has delivered helpful and encouraging comments to participants, guiding their skills and inner growth, which resonated with viewers. Beyond being a K-pop representative producer who combines talent, strictness, and warmth, he plans to fully demonstrate his true value as a 'worldwide entertainer' through his performances, showcasing the presence of artist Park Jin-young.
After completing domestic broadcasting activities, Park Jin-young will begin promotions in Japan starting on the 13th. He will perform his new song 'Easy Lover (Anirago Malhaejwo)' on the local terrestrial broadcaster Nippon TV's 'Day Day.' On the 15th, he will appear alongside NiziU on TV Asahi's representative music program 'Music Station' (hereafter 'M Station').
On 'M Station,' Park Jin-young, who wrote and composed NiziU's pre-debut song 'Make you happy,' which caused a sensation in Japan, will perform an unprecedented collaboration stage together with the two artists. Since its first broadcast in October 1986, 'M Station' has been regarded as the most popular music program in Japan.
Park Jin-young, who showcased his solid 30-year music history as a singer and Asia's top producer in the Chuseok special KBS 2TV grand project 'Ddan Dda Ra JYP,' is currently active as a judge on KBS 2TV's new audition program 'The Ddan Dda Ra,' which seeks versatile and charming new talents in the entertainment industry.
