Presided over by President Kim Dong-seop, the disaster preparedness regular training involved seven organizations, including the Oil Corporation, Pyeongtaek Fire Station, Pyeongtaek Police Station, Anjung Health Center, Pyeongtaek 2nd Fleet, Korea Western Power, and Korea Gas Corporation.

This regular training simulated a scenario where a gas leak and hazardous material fire occurred during LPG (butane) unloading operations. The Oil Corporation conducted the training according to its own plan in cooperation with related agencies, while the Ministry of the Interior and Safety provided expert consultation and evaluation.

During the training, the Oil Corporation checked the response system according to disaster situations such as initial response, fire suppression, and recovery, and focused on verifying whether the disaster safety communication network and collaboration system with related agencies operated efficiently.

President Kim Dong-seop, who presided over the training, stated, "This training served as an opportunity to once again check whether we can respond actively and systematically to disaster situations such as fires," adding, "We will continue to regularly inspect the disaster response system to protect the lives and property of the public from various disasters and ensure the safety of the storage base."
