A modest but beautiful tree has been installed in the garden of Sonbul-myeon Office in Hampyeong, Jeonnam, attracting attention.

The office explained that the tree was set up to encourage residents who were exhausted from the summer heatwave and the harvest season.

All the staff worked together to decorate the tree and even created a mini photo zone, giving special inspiration to residents passing by.

Residents gather in small groups, reminiscing and creating yet another memory.

Resident Choi Gisu (74) said, "Walking in front of the office with my siblings from out of town, we were surprised and burst into laughter when we saw the pretty tree," adding, "It brought back childhood Christmas memories and revived my innocence," expressing gratitude.

Im Suyeong, the head of the office, stated, "I hope this event will not only promote the Winter Light Festival but also bring vitality to Sonbul-myeon and become an opportunity for residents to feel happiness."
