[Breaking] Kim Ho-jung Sentenced to 2 Years and 6 Months in First Trial for Drunk Hit-and-Run Charges

Trot singer Kim Ho-jung (33), who was indicted on charges of 'drunk hit-and-run,' was sentenced to 2 years and 6 months in prison in the first trial.

On the morning of the 13th, Judge Choi Min-hye of the Seoul Central District Court Criminal Division 26 sentenced Kim, who was detained and prosecuted on charges of violating the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Crimes (dangerous driving causing injury and hit-and-run causing injury), violating the Road Traffic Act (failure to stop after an accident), and aiding the escape of a criminal, to 2 years and 6 months in prison.
