- Adding usability and scalability to the sustainability identity of the existing logo
- Leading the activation of the clean beauty market with 'K-Sustainable Society'
Clean Beauty 2.0 marketing tech company Sloc (CEO Ki-hyun Kim) unveiled the new logo of its cosmetics sustainability third-party verification service, 'K-Sustainable,' on the 14th.
'K-Sustainable' is Korea's first cosmetics sustainability third-party verification service, aligning with overseas beauty marketing trends that highlight sustainability and dispel concerns about greenwashing.
In addition to qualitative verification of sustainability, 'K-Sustainable' is the only service that calculates and provides the carbon footprint for all stages from product manufacturing to disposal.
The new logo of 'K-Sustainable' maintains the identity of sustainability embedded in the existing logo and grade marks, while adding scalability for diverse use on products and promotional materials.
The new logo will be applied to products such as 'Jojoba Oil' and 'Jojoba Toner' from the global jojoba specialist brand 'Pink Wonder,' which recently completed 'K-Sustainable' verification. The logo and usage guidelines can be found on the 'K-Sustainable' website.
A new emblem exclusively for the 'K-Sustainable Society Membership' was also introduced. The 'K-Sustainable Society' is a business community for companies aiming for Clean Beauty 2.0. Membership is granted only to companies with sustainable products or services, and companies that pass the 'K-Sustainable' verification automatically receive membership for the validity period of the verification report.
A Sloc representative explained, "This renewal was planned to help products verified for sustainability create differentiation and economic effects in the clean beauty market."
Meanwhile, Sloc is leading efforts to revitalize the clean beauty market through various initiatives such as networking days, seminar days, and business matching via the 'K-Sustainable Society.'
