Samsung Electronics Launches Same-Day Delivery and Installation Service, First in Home Appliance Industry

"Same-Day Delivery for Small Products, Same-Day Installation Available for Medium to Large Home Appliances"

Samsung Electronics is the first in the home appliance industry to start same-day delivery and installation services. This service was created in response to the growing preference for same-day delivery among domestic consumers.

On the 13th, Samsung Electronics announced that starting from the 14th, it will launch the 'Today Guarantee' service, which enables same-day delivery and installation from home appliances to mobile devices.

The Today Guarantee service allows customers who purchase from Samsung.com before 12 PM to receive same-day delivery and installation for 100,000 KRW through Samsung Electronics Logistics for home appliances such as TVs, refrigerators, and washing machines that do not require prior construction. Mobile products under 500,000 KRW, such as smartphones and wearables that do not require installation, will be delivered on the same day with a delivery fee of 5,000 KRW via a separate delivery company.

The service will be operated mainly in Seoul and the metropolitan area and will gradually expand to major cities in the future.

Samsung Electronics expects high demand for the service for products such as refrigerators, where food spoilage is a concern due to malfunction or damage, TVs that require viewing, and smartphones that need quick communication.

A Samsung Electronics representative said, "Since home appliances and mobile products are used by everyone every day and every moment, we introduced this service to further enhance customer convenience and satisfaction. We will continue to strive to provide new customer experiences not only through same-day delivery and installation services but also in the future."

Meanwhile, in July, Samsung Electronics operated the country's first 'drone delivery service' sending Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 to some island areas. They are also implementing a 'time-customized installation service' where consumers can directly specify the product receipt and installation time.
