Woongjin Foods Builds 8,500-Pyeong Integrated Logistics Center... "Opening a New 50 Years"

Promotion of Logistics System Operation and Inventory Management Efficiency

Woongjin Foods announced on the 13th that it has established and started operating the 'Yugu Integrated Logistics Center' in Yugu-eup, Gongju-si, Chungcheongnam-do.

The Yugu Integrated Logistics Center has a total floor area of 28,251m² (approximately 8,546 pyeong) and consists of four above-ground floors, including logistics warehouses, logistics warehouse support facilities, and office spaces. Built on a site near Woongjin Foods' Yugu factory, it enables more efficient inventory management and logistics system operation, as well as cost reduction effects through decreased logistics warehouse rental fees.

On the 8th of last month, Woongjin Foods held a 'Yugu Integrated Logistics Center Completion Ceremony' attended by Choi Won-cheol, Mayor of Gongju City, and Lee Ji-ho, CEO of Woongjin Foods, at the Yugu Integrated Logistics Center. In particular, Woongjin Foods explained that the Yugu Integrated Logistics Center, located near Yugu IC, offers excellent highway accessibility and, given the characteristics of Chungcheongnam-do, can smoothly supply logistics to the Seoul metropolitan area, Honam, and Yeongnam regions, establishing itself as an important logistics hub.

A Woongjin Foods official stated, "The completion of the Yugu Integrated Logistics Center is a dream Woongjin Foods has longed for over the past 48 years," adding, "Based on the new logistics center, we plan to integrally manage production and logistics, reduce time and costs, and open a new 50 years."
