"Prepare for Winter at Half Price"... Three Department Stores Launch Winter Regular Sale

The three major domestic department stores are launching their regular winter sales. With a cold wave forecasted this winter, the department store industry is focusing discounts on winter outerwear such as coats and jackets.

According to the distribution industry on the 13th, Lotte Department Store will hold a regular sale event from the 15th of this month to the 1st of next month, offering discounts on popular winter products. During this period, Lotte Department Store will offer up to 50% discounts across all product categories including men's and women's fashion and outdoor wear, along with a 10% Lotte gift certificate promotion.

Lotte Outlet Up to 60% Discount

First, in celebration of the 9th 'Korea Sale Festa' (Kosepe) this year, discount events and promotions will be held for a total of about 600 brands. Discounts ranging from 10% to 50% will be offered across all product categories including essential winter outerwear such as goose down jackets, short padding, and long padding. Additionally, from the first weekend of the event, the 15th to the 17th, customers purchasing fashion and sports products will receive a 10% Lotte gift certificate based on their purchase amount.

Furthermore, to reward customers visiting the department stores during the event, 50,000 customers will be given a 5,000 KRW discount voucher usable at food and beverage (F&B) stores for purchases over 15,000 KRW on a first-come, first-served basis. The discount vouchers can be issued through the Lotte Department Store app starting at 10 a.m. on the 14th, the day before the event begins.

In celebration of the 2025 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT), the 'BYE CSAT, BUY Fashion' event will be introduced for the first time. From the 14th to the 17th, about 80 fashion brands across all Lotte Department Store locations will participate, offering up to 20% additional discounts and Lotte gift certificates to customers who present their exam admission ticket upon visiting the store.

Lotte Outlet will also hold an 'Outerwear Super Sale' from the 15th to the 24th. During the event, various brand products including outdoor, sports, kids, and women's fashion will be sold at discounts of up to 60%.

Shinsegae Gangnam Store Fur Up to 70% Off

Shinsegae Department Store will also hold its final regular sale of the year during the same period. Shinsegae Department Store will focus on discounts for winter clothing such as padding and coats, as well as products suitable for year-end and New Year gifts. This sale, involving about 500 brands including women's, men's, sports, and children's categories (excluding some brands) across 13 Shinsegae stores nationwide, has increased the volume of winter clothing such as padding, coats, and fur by more than 20% compared to last year.

Popular winter fashion items for women and men from brands like She’s Miss, Rogatis, and Basso will be offered at up to 50% off. Additionally, from the 11th of this month, the basement level 1 event hall at the Gangnam store will host a 'Premium Outerwear & Fur Fair,' offering popular products from domestic and international fur brands at discounts of up to 70%.

Season-off sales for famous overseas brands will also be held. Starting on the 28th of this month, popular products from the boutique The Boon the Shop for women and men, shoes, and Case Study will be showcased. The Boon the Shop men's section will offer up to 40% off popular overseas fashion brands such as Vetements, Dries Van Noten, and Givenchy. The women's section will feature discounts of up to 30% on brands like Alexander McQueen, Dries Van Noten, and Vetements. The shoe section will include brands such as Rene Caovilla, Clergerie, and Aquazzura.

A discount event featuring highly insulating goose down comforters will also be held. Functional bedding brand Sesa will sell Hungarian goose down comforters for 550,000 KRW, and The Chosun Hotel bedding brand will offer Hungarian medium goose down for 704,000 KRW. Other discounted items include ▲Allermang Briden Hungarian goose down quilt for 599,000 KRW ▲CozyNest Neopoland goose down four-season comforter for 840,000 KRW.

Through a stamp event on the Shinsegae mobile app, customers can receive a Puvilla keyring and ornament. During the first weekend of the sale from the 15th to the 17th, customers who spend 1 million, 2 million, 3 million, 5 million, or 10 million KRW or more in luxury, fashion, and accessories categories using Shinsegae affiliated cards will receive a 7% Shinbaek reward.

Hyundai Department Store, Largest Sale of the Year

Hyundai Department Store will hold a shopping festival at 24 locations nationwide, including 15 department stores such as Apgujeong Main Store, 8 outlets, and Connect Hyundai Busan.

From the 15th of this month to the 1st of next month, Hyundai Department Store will hold 'The Sale,' the largest sale event of the year, at all 15 department stores including Apgujeong Main Store. During the sale, about 300 brands across all product categories such as fashion, accessories, living, and sports will offer new products at discounts of up to 60% off the original price. This year, the volume of outerwear such as padding and coats has been increased by up to 20% or more per brand compared to last year.

From the 15th to the 17th, customers purchasing products from about 110 fashion brands using Hyundai Department Store cards will receive a maximum 10% reward based on the purchase amount. This is an increase from the previous 5% reward rate. During the same period, customers who spend 200,000 KRW or more using Lotte, Hyundai, KB, or NH Nonghyup cards will receive Hyundai Department Store gift certificates or H points worth 20,000 KRW.

To celebrate Christmas, special gifts and coupons will be offered. Until the 29th, customers who spend 200,000 KRW or more will receive a limited quantity Christmas eco bag at each store. Hyundai Department Store app members will receive a free drink coupon redeemable for the Christmas season beverage 'Green Apple Cinnamon Tea' at Cafe H in all Hyundai Department Store locations until the 30th.

Hyundai Outlet will hold an Outerwear Festival from the 15th to the 24th in celebration of Kosepe. Popular winter clothing such as padding and coats will be sold at outlet prices (30-70% off the original price) with an additional discount of up to 20%. Additionally, Hyundai Premium Outlet Gimpo will hold a 'Tommy Hilfiger Special Exhibition' from the 22nd, and Space One will open a 'Winter Festival' from the 25th, featuring 100 specially priced outerwear and cold-weather items.

Connect Hyundai Busan will sell special-priced products from popular brands such as Nike and Levi's at the event hall until the 17th. A pop-up store called 'Lee Myunghwa's Yunan Store' will be held in the basement level 2 pop-up space until the 21st.

Hyundai Department Store's official online mall, The Hyundai.com, will hold the Kosepe 'Club Week' from the 11th to the 17th. During the event, fashion, outdoor, and kids' products will be offered at discounts of up to 50%. Customers paying with Hyundai Department Store cards will receive up to 7% additional discounts. New club members registering on The Hyundai.com website will also receive a 20% discount coupon.
