Sejong Center for the Performing Arts Offers 70% Discount to Youths Under 24

Operation of 'Seoul Youth Day Ticket' from the 13th

Sejong Center for the Performing Arts announced on the 12th that it will operate the 'Seoul Youth Day Ticket' starting from the 13th to provide more opportunities for youth to attend performances.

Youth aged 7 to 24 can purchase tickets for Seoul Metropolitan Arts Group's planned performances on the day of the performance at a 70% discount using the 'Seoul Youth Day Ticket.' This discount applies only to remaining seats in the lowest grade ticket category for each performance.

Sejong Center stated that the 'Seoul Youth Day Ticket' will be piloted until the end of this year, and based on the results, it will be officially introduced from the 2025 Sejong Season.

By using the 'Seoul Youth Day Ticket,' one can purchase an A-seat ticket (regular price 40,000 KRW) for the currently running Seoul Metropolitan Theater Company's 'Tungso Sori' for 12,000 KRW. The A-seat ticket (regular price 30,000 KRW) for the Seoul Metropolitan Musical Company's 'Macbeth,' opening on December 12, can be purchased for 9,000 KRW. Additionally, tickets for Seoul Metropolitan Opera Company's 'La Boh?me,' Seoul Metropolitan Gugak Orchestra's 'Rearrangement of Gugak Orchestra,' and Seoul Metropolitan Choir's 'Light of the Year-End, Resonance of the Choir' are also eligible for the Seoul Youth Day Ticket discount.

The 'Seoul Youth Day Ticket' is available to all youth aged 7 to 24 (born between 2000 and 2017), regardless of residence. Tickets can be reserved from 9 a.m. on the day of the performance through the Sejong Center website, with a maximum of 4 tickets per person. For those who wish to purchase tickets on-site, the Sejong Center Service Plaza and call center are available.
