"Shame Entirely the People's Burden," Critics Say
"Special Prosecutor Law Must Be Accepted and Resignation Discussed," Others Argue
A large poster calling for the resignation of President Yoon Suk-yeol was posted at Seoul National University, his alma mater. On the 12th, KBS reported that a poster titled "Calling for the Resignation of Alumnus Yoon Suk-yeol, the Epitome of Unfairness and Absurdity," dated the 8th, was displayed on bulletin boards at the Seoul National University Student Union Building and the Central Library. The poster's author, who identified themselves as an "ordinary undergraduate student at Seoul National University," pointed out that "the Yoon Suk-yeol administration, which launched with the public's expectations under the banners of 'fairness' and 'common sense,' is destroying democracy and constitutional order with unprecedented unfairness and absurdity."

They stated, "The reason why Yoon Suk-yeol, the Prosecutor General with no political experience, was able to become president with the trust of the people was because there was an expectation that he would realize fairness based on fearless investigations and the rule of law," adding, "Contrary to his statement that 'I do not pledge loyalty to any person,' President Yoon's image of being loyal only to his wife is causing great despair among the people."
Furthermore, they criticized, "President Yoon, who even vetoes bills aimed at investigating suspicions surrounding himself and his wife, calling them 'unconstitutional,' should go back to attending political science introductory classes alongside students forty years his junior." The author added, "Besides this, President Yoon's arrogance and absurd actions are so numerous that they cannot all be included in this writing," and "The allegations of state affairs interference triggered by political broker Myung Tae-gyun show how unqualified President Yoon is as a leader, and the shame falls entirely on the people."
They also criticized, "President Yoon says he will focus on pension, medical, labor, and education reforms during the remainder of his term, but no one believes this is possible with approval ratings in the 10% range," and "Even with overwhelming public support, the Yoon Suk-yeol administration has failed to even negotiate with medical organizations and medical students, so it is impossible for it to lead cooperation with the legislature and realize other reforms." They emphasized, "Before facing catastrophic consequences, President Yoon must recognize the gravity of the situation, accept the special prosecutor law, and discuss an orderly resignation," concluding, "If the current attitude continues, there will be no place for your name in our proud Seoul National University community."
