Changnyeong-gun Disabled Comprehensive Welfare Center Wins Group Stage at the 1st Gyeongnam Governor's Cup Disabled Soccer Tournament

Gyeongnam Changnyeong-gun Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled announced on the 12th that its team, 'Changnyeong Superstar,' won first place in the group stage with outstanding performance at the '1st Gyeongsangnam-do Governor's Cup Disabled Football Tournament' held on the 9th.

This tournament was conducted as a 5-a-side match according to the Korea Special Olympics football regulations, with a total of 12 teams participating across three groups from A to C. 'Changnyeong Superstar' belonged to Group B and secured first place in the group with 2 wins and 1 draw.

Since its establishment in 2013, Changnyeong Superstar won the inaugural championship in their first official match at the 1st Gyeongsangnam-do Intellectual Disability Football Tournament held the same year. They have participated in national and regional competitions such as the Korea Special Olympics and have won 9 championships, making this tournament their 10th overall victory.
