The Radiology Academic Festival is an annual event where second-year students and their advisors form teams to select radiology-related topics by club and present theoretical and clinical research results related to radiology. The event was held together with the inauguration and retirement ceremony of the Radiology Alumni Association president.
At this academic festival, there were presentations including "Development of an Identification Card to Confirm Radiation Exposure" by four current students, and a presentation and Q&A session on "Mammography and Its Issues" by graduate Lee Na-hyun from the Department of Radiology at Busan Bumin Hospital. Additionally, the Busan Radiological Society provided academic support funds to the presenters to foster research capabilities among future scholars and to promote academic activities.
Jae Jae-yong, head of the Radiology Department at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology, stated, "Dong-Eui Institute of Technology has the advantage of being the only university in Busan offering a three-year curriculum that enables students to obtain a radiological technologist license." He added, "As a university accredited by the Korea Radiological Education Evaluation Institute, we will grow into an essential institution for training radiological technologists by combining practice-oriented education with radiology-related research."
