This campaign was organized with the purpose of eradicating the culture of power abuse within the public service and fostering a positive organizational culture based on respect and consideration. November 11 has been designated as Yangsan City’s Mutual Respect Day, symbolizing that “all employees respect and consider each other equally (1=1).”

Through this campaign, the importance of mutual respect and consideration among public officials was emphasized by promoting the proper use of titles, greeting each other first with a smile, and using considerate language. It was highlighted that such attitudes of understanding one another can contribute to improving the overall integrity of Yangsan City. Through these activities, Yangsan aims to lay the foundation for building a long-term honest public service culture.

Cho Hyun-ok, Deputy Mayor of Yangsan City, stated, “We will strive to spread and establish a culture of consideration among employees and do our best to become a Yangsan City that is more trusted by its citizens.”
