On the 11th, Yongin City announced on the 12th that it signed a 'Private Consignment Contract for Neighborhood Living Facilities at the Former Yongin Sports Complex' with Baz International Co., Ltd. in the mayor's reception room. Baz International is a company established by Director Seri Pak in 2019 when she ventured into the golf education content business.

Under this contract, Baz International will be entrusted with a three-story building with a total floor area of 1,737㎡ located at 704 Mapyeong-dong within the former Yongin Sports Complex and will develop it into a complex cultural space combining sports, culture, and arts. The entrusted facility will be operated for five years from the opening date.

The space will include a book cafe, exhibition and sports experience rooms, seminar rooms, and more. In particular, various programs such as golf camps for elementary and middle school students using Director Seri Pak’s brand, book concerts, lifestyle festivals, and barista training will be operated. The company plans to start interior construction this month and open 'SERI PAK with Yongin' in March next year.

Twenty officials, including Lee Sang-il, Mayor of Yongin, Director Seri Pak, and Lee Chi-hoon, CEO of Baz International, attended the contract signing ceremony. Mayor Lee said, "As a result of good cooperation models created through communication between the city and Baz International, the complex cultural space 'SERI PAK with Yongin' has been born. Through this contract, the site of the former sports complex will be reborn as a space that brings joy to citizens through sports and culture."

Director Pak responded, "I will do my best to help Yongin City grow into a city that can be the future of Korean sports, culture, and arts, and to nurture excellent golf talents at 'SERI PAK with Yongin.'"

Meanwhile, Yongin City has continued its cooperative relationship for the development of local sports culture, including signing a 'Business Agreement for the Development of Sports and Culture in Yongin Special City' with Baz International in March last year.
