Audi Korea announced on the 12th that it will unveil the mid-size pure electric sport utility vehicle (SUV) 'Audi Q6 e-tron' for the first time in the Korean market and begin pre-orders.
The Audi Q6 e-tron is the first mass-produced model to apply Audi's dedicated electric vehicle platform 'PPE'. PPE (Premium Platform Electric) is an electric vehicle platform jointly developed by Audi and Porsche exclusively for the premium segment electric vehicles. It delivers enhanced efficiency, driving dynamics, and design. Additionally, it has proven its safety by receiving the highest rating in the European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP) test.
The Audi Q6 e-tron features a spacious body with a length of 4771mm, width of 1939mm, and height of 1648mm. Its long wheelbase of 2899mm provides ample legroom for the second-row seats. The interior is designed as a driver-centric digital stage, equipped with an 11.9-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus featuring OLED technology, a 14.5-inch MMI touch panoramic display, and an MMI passenger display.
The 100 kWh (net capacity 94.9 kWh) lithium-ion battery installed in the Audi Q6 e-tron consists of 12 battery modules and 180 prismatic cells. It enables a maximum driving range of 641 km (WLTP standard) on a single charge.
Audi Korea plans to launch the Q6 e-tron in the domestic market in four trims: ▲Audi Q6 e-tron Performance ▲Audi Q6 e-tron Performance Premium ▲Audi Q6 e-tron Quattro ▲Audi SQ6 e-tron. The official domestic launch is scheduled for the first half of next year, with pre-orders starting this month alongside a preview event.
The expected domestic launch price of the Audi Q6 e-tron is estimated to range from the low 80 million KRW to the low 100 million KRW.
