Korea East-West Power Co., Ltd. Dangjin Power Division delivered Dangjin rice worth 5 million KRW to children from vulnerable groups at the Dangjin City Welfare Foundation in Chungnam on the 11th.

This event was organized to celebrate Farmers’ Day on November 11, to promote the excellence of rice produced by local farms, and to support healthy meals for children in the area.

The 2,200kg of Dangjin Jang-gohang rice delivered on this day will be distributed to 220 low-income households with children registered at welfare facilities such as Dangjin City Dream Start, Multicultural Family Support Center, and Dangjin City Health Support Center.

A representative of the Dangjin City Welfare Foundation said, “Thanks to Dangjin Power Division, which extends a helping hand to vulnerable groups every year, local residents are able to spend a warm winter,” and added, “We will do our best to ensure that rice from local farms is well delivered to those in need.”

Meanwhile, Dangjin Power Division continues to fulfill its responsibilities as a local company by coexisting with local farms and vulnerable groups, such as delivering gift packages made of local agricultural products to vulnerable groups every holiday.
