Baemin "Labor Consultation Support for 1,000 Small Business Owners Within the Year"

‘Elegant Labor Solution Specialist’ Telephone Consultation Center Launches

Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baedal Minjok, announced on the 12th that they have established a consultation center and started real-time phone consultations as part of the 'Woohan Labor Solution Program.'

The Woohan Labor Solution is a labor consulting program launched last year by Baemin in collaboration with the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business and the Korea Certified Labor Consultants Association to assist small business owners who find it difficult to comply with the Labor Standards Act. Certified labor consultants visit workplaces to conduct one-on-one consultations, provide group labor-related training, and offer labor consultation casebooks. The support target has gradually expanded, and from the second half of this year, the scope has been extended to include not only small business owners but also small and medium-sized enterprises. More than 800 small business owners have used the service cumulatively until October this year.

The operation of this real-time consultation center was established to provide labor consultations to small business owners more easily and conveniently. In the case of existing face-to-face consultations, there were inconveniences such as having to apply for labor consultation in advance and coordinate schedules. Small business owners, who must focus on running their stores for their livelihood, found it difficult to schedule appointments at their desired times.

With the operation of this phone consultation center, labor consultations can be freely received by phone during operating hours without a separate application process. After the phone consultation, face-to-face consultations at the center are also available for those who wish. The real-time phone consultation center operates from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays, will run until the end of the year, and plans to decide on expansion afterward.

Baemin aims to provide consultations to more than 1,000 small business owners cumulatively within this year through the operation of the consultation center. Additionally, next year, the program plans to expand by adding capacity-building support that helps with business operations and sales growth, such as labor education and digital transformation.
