Guro-gu will operate the ‘2026 Academic Year Parent College Entrance Academy’ for parents of prospective examinees.
The Parent College Entrance Academy is an annual program conducted by the district to help understand the changing college entrance system and guide proper preparation methods.
Parents highly appreciate the program as it provides easy access to information about college entrance exams and study methods without any burden of tuition or textbook fees.
This program will be held over two weeks from November 26 to December 5, with a total of four sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The lecture time is from 7 PM to 9 PM, and the instructor will be Kim Yong-taek, CEO of the ‘Shinui Hansu’ Admission Strategy Research Institute, a college admission mentor.
The lecture topics include ▲Analysis of the 2028 college entrance system reform plan following the implementation of the high school credit system (November 26) ▲Career planning, selection of career-related subjects, and self-study secrets to achieve top grades (November 28) ▲Analysis of major university admission types for the 2026 academic year early admission and strategies for success (December 3) ▲In the era of student record competitiveness! Adding career wings through thematic exploration activities in detailed ability and special notes (December 5).
The program targets 50 parents of prospective examinees (from 3rd year middle school to 2nd year high school) in Guro-gu, and applications can be made on a first-come, first-served basis through the Guro Learning Support Center website until 6 PM on November 22.
A Guro-gu official said, “We hope parents gain a lot of information necessary to establish admission strategies through the Parent College Entrance Academy,” and added, “We will continue to operate various career and admission programs that can provide practical and professional support.”
