Namyangju City Conducts 'Jeju Healing Workshop' for Civil Complaint Officers

Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Ju Gwang-deok) announced on the 11th that it conducted a Jeju healing workshop for 28 civil service officers in charge of civil complaints over a period of 3 days and 2 nights from the 6th to the 8th.

This workshop was organized to encourage the efforts of civil complaint officers following the award of the 2023 Civil Service Comprehensive Evaluation Grand Prize, and to provide a time for recharging to employees exhausted by the difficulties of civil complaint work and job-related stress.

Through the workshop, participants explored Udo Island, Seongsan Ilchulbong, and the Secret Forest, healing their bodies and minds in nature. They also shared communication and empathy sessions discussing difficulties and concerns related to their work, exchanging various ideas for better civil complaint services.

The employees who attended the workshop expressed satisfaction, saying, "Through activities experienced in nature, we were able to relieve the stress accumulated from civil complaint work and regain vitality," and "We feel we can provide even better civil complaint services after returning with renewed energy."

Kim Sun-mi, the Civil Complaint Officer, stated, "I hope this workshop serves as an opportunity to relieve work stress and build the strength to provide better civil complaint services," adding, "We will continue to make efforts to create a better work environment."

Meanwhile, Namyangju City has been selected as the top institution for five consecutive years in the Civil Service Comprehensive Evaluation, which assesses the level of service at the civil contact points among 307 institutions nationwide.
