Semes Hosts the 9th Semes-Korean Society of Mechanical Engineers KSOIC Competition

Semes, a semiconductor equipment company, announced on the 11th that it held the '9th Korean Society of Mechanical Engineers-Semes Open Innovation Challenge' event at Jeju ICC (International Convention Center), where an awards ceremony for outstanding papers and a presentation of the winning works were conducted to promote industry-academia technology exchange.

This event is a paper contest in the field of mechanical engineering, focusing on semiconductor and display equipment process technology, ultra-precision sensor measurement technology, and other areas applicable in industrial sites. It is the first industry-academia open innovation competition hosted by a domestic academic society. Sponsored by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Korean Society of Mechanical Engineers and Semes have jointly organized and operated the event since 2016 with the aim of discovering ideas for future technological innovation.
