This year’s evaluation was conducted as a comprehensive assessment based on four major areas and 18 detailed indicators, focusing on national tasks and educational reform tasks: strengthening national responsibility for education and care, digital transformation of education, customized education support for all, and creating a safe and healthy educational environment.

As a result of promoting innovative educational models at schools, the Gyeongbuk Office of Education received great attention as the ‘Warm Gyeongbuk-style Neulbom School, enjoyed together and satisfying everyone’ was selected as an excellent case in the qualitative evaluation.

This reflects the fruits of the educational policies and efforts pursued by the Gyeongbuk Office of Education, demonstrating that the slogan ‘Warm Gyeongbuk Education, Global Education Standard’ is being realized in practice.

With this evaluation result, the Gyeongbuk Office of Education was selected as the best institution in the quantitative evaluation, receiving 500 million KRW, and was chosen as an excellent case in the qualitative evaluation, receiving 325 million KRW in support, totaling 825 million KRW in financial incentives for 2025.

Superintendent Lim Jong-sik of the Gyeongbuk Office of Education said, “This achievement was made possible thanks to the efforts of the entire Gyeongbuk education family amid national crises such as the decline in school-age population and regional extinction,” adding, “We will continue to work with the educational community to realize Gyeongbuk education as a global standard for sustainable future education.”
