The '2024 Environmental Club Activity Support Project' was promoted with the purpose of providing opportunities for middle and high school students and general citizens to autonomously recognize and develop the ability to solve environmental problems within their self-formed groups.

This final reporting meeting became a meaningful occasion where a total of 10 clubs reported their activities from April 2024 in the form of case presentations, shared their practical tasks, and considered new solutions to environmental issues.

Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun of Guri City said, “I thank the citizens who actively participated in club activities to respond to the climate crisis and overcome the environmental crisis,” and added, “We will continue to promote various projects for carbon-neutral zero practices and do our best to ensure that Guri City can be reborn as a sustainable eco-friendly city.”
