The Carbon Neutrality Support Center in Suwon-si, Gyeonggi Province, is holding a "Carbon Neutrality Idea Contest" until November 22.
Participants can submit policy ideas related to Suwon-si’s carbon neutrality or videos on any free topic related to carbon neutrality. Anyone interested in Suwon-si’s carbon neutrality can participate.
Suwon-si will select one grand prize winner and eight excellence awardees in the idea category, and one grand prize winner and four excellence awardees in the video category through a judging process. Grand prize winners will receive a certificate and a prize of 500,000 KRW, while excellence awardees will receive a certificate and a prize of 250,000 KRW. The winners will be announced in December, followed by an awards ceremony.
Applications can be submitted by visiting the Suwon-si website (www.suwon.go.kr), going to the "City News" bulletin board, searching for "Carbon Neutrality Idea Contest," downloading the application form, filling it out, and sending it via email to hcha3922@suwon.re.kr. Alternatively, applicants can scan the QR code on the contest promotional materials with a smartphone and submit via Google Form.
A Suwon-si official stated, "The excellent ideas discovered through this contest will be concretized and reflected in the ‘1st Suwon-si Carbon Neutrality Green Growth Basic Plan.’ We ask for many creative works that can respond to the climate crisis and reduce carbon emissions."
