Introducing Video Device Anomaly Monitoring Service
S-1 has presented a solution to the problem of CCTV cameras left broken and unable to perform their functions. CCTV requires on-site personnel to directly check and inspect video monitoring, recording status, and device maintenance, making it difficult to verify issues in real time when problems occur.
On the 11th, S-1 announced the launch of a new "Video Device Anomaly Monitoring Service" that immediately notifies customers when abnormalities occur in CCTV. This service instantly alerts customers via a dedicated application if the installed CCTV is not recording, and if the issue can be resolved immediately, S-1 remotely takes action to minimize surveillance gaps caused by CCTV malfunctions.
If remote action is not possible and on-site repair such as equipment replacement is required, specialized CCTV maintenance personnel promptly visit to support on-site inspections. S-1 operates over 140 dispatch bases nationwide and has secured about 2,000 dispatch agents and 800 specialized technical staff to provide services that allow customers to use CCTV with peace of mind.

In addition to anomaly alerts, a monthly regular report is provided to allow customers to check whether their CCTV is functioning properly. The regular report contains information on video recording status, camera connection status, internet connection status, hard disk status, hard disk temperature, and recorder fan status.
Now, without the need for people to directly manage and inspect CCTV, operation is possible without surveillance gaps by leveraging remote monitoring technology. Most security companies have only provided services responding to customer requests for CCTV repairs, but S-1 has introduced a service that checks and addresses CCTV anomalies before the customer does, enhancing customer convenience.
S-1 also introduced a service that supports financial compensation by reviewing footage recorded by CCTV in case of theft incidents. The "Video Rental Theft Compensation Service" provides compensation up to 10 million KRW for customers using the video device rental service if footage shows theft or damage to storage facilities such as doors, windows, or safes. Even if CCTV footage exists, it often takes a long time and complicated procedures to catch the culprit and receive legal compensation; this prompt compensation support helps affected customers focus on their livelihoods.
An S-1 representative said, "While CCTV installation has become widespread and contributed to creating a safer society, broken CCTVs left unattended have sometimes caused security gaps. We will take the lead in expanding the distribution of the newly launched Video Device Anomaly Monitoring Service to reduce safety blind spots and create an environment where CCTV users can live with greater peace of mind."
