Seoul Southern District Court Issues Arrest Warrant
A man in his 40s suspected of killing a woman in her 30s at an officetel in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, was arrested on the 10th.
Yoon Seok-beom, the duty judge at the Seoul Southern District Court, conducted a pre-arrest detention hearing for suspect A in the afternoon and issued an arrest warrant, citing concerns that he might flee or destroy evidence.
According to the police, A is suspected of killing a woman in her 30s at an officetel near Hwagok Station on Subway Line 5 in Gangseo-gu at around 6:40 a.m. on the 8th.
The police found traces of a weapon and burned charcoal at the scene.
During the police investigation, A reportedly stated that he knew the victim and committed the crime in a fit of rage after hearing that the victim was seeing another man.
