The '2024 Kkummoa Festival' is an abbreviation for a festival where children mosaic their dreams, an event where children from Changwon City Regional Children's Centers showcase and enjoy the talents and skills they have honed. A total of six teams participated, including K-POP dance, cheerleading, ukulele, and orchestra performances.

The event held on the 9th featured experience booths such as face painting, mole game for awareness improvement, and nail art, as well as nostalgic lottery games, cotton candy, and fried chicken booths, creating a diverse event where families could laugh and enjoy freely together.

On this day, Changwon City presented awards to outstanding workers who contributed to the development of regional children's centers and certificates to winners of the drawing contest hosted by the Changwon City Regional Children's Center Association, celebrating their achievements.

Regional children's centers are care-focused institutions that safely protect children who need after-school care and provide various programs tailored to children's characteristics in connection with the local community, offering comprehensive child welfare services for healthy growth and education.

Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City, stated, “In response to the increasing demand for child welfare, we are actively promoting the establishment of an all-day care system for after-school children and the Dream Start project to ensure fair starting opportunities for vulnerable children,” adding, “We will continue to do our best to make Changwon a city where children are happy and hope grows.”
