Confirmation of Crime Details and Movement After Entry
A Chinese national suspected of filming the National Intelligence Service building with a drone was apprehended by the police.
On the 10th, the Seocho Police Station in Seoul announced that they had arrested a Chinese national identified as A on the 9th on charges of violating the Aviation Safety Act and are currently investigating him.
The police believe that A was filming Heuninreung, Private Monument No. 194, in Naegok-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, with a drone the previous afternoon and also captured footage of the nearby NIS building.
So far, there are no indications of espionage charges, but authorities are investigating A's motives and movements since entering the country for further verification.
