In a post on Facebook that day, Jo said, "If not, from now on it will be time for impeachment."

Jo stated, "Up to today, when President Yoon's government term has passed the halfway point, it has felt like 25 years in just two and a half years," adding, "President Yoon once boasted that he 'does not pledge loyalty to people' to gain popularity, but he has been thoroughly loyal only to himself and his spouse, Kim Geon-hee."

He continued, "For President Yoon, state affairs were merely about strengthening prosecutorial power and protecting the interests and safety of the presidential couple."

Jo said, "The people have seen enough and endured enough," adding, "In his national 'chitchat' (the national address and press conference on the 7th), he summarized the main reasons for impeachment himself, yet shamelessly said he would complete his term, which is unfortunate for both the people and the country."
