KMA: "3.1 Earthquake in Kilju, North Hamgyong Province, North Korea... Natural Occurrence"

The Korea Meteorological Administration announced that an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.1 occurred at 1:23:12 PM on the 9th, 37 km north-northwest of Gilju, Hamgyongbuk-do, North Korea.

The epicenter is located at 41.27 degrees north latitude and 129.19 degrees east longitude. The depth of the earthquake was 11 km. The Korea Meteorological Administration stated, "It is analyzed as a natural earthquake."
