Review of Implementation Results and Progress for 234 Cases This Year
On the 7th, Dangjin City in Chungnam attracted attention by holding the '2024 Mayor's Directive Implementation Results Briefing' in the small conference room on the 7th floor of City Hall, presided over by Mayor Oh Seonghwan and attended by department heads.
The purpose of this briefing was to review the implementation status of the mayor's directives concerning overall Dangjin municipal administration throughout 2024 and to share future plans.
This briefing covered a total of 234 items, including those directed at the △2024 Major Business Plan △Residential Environment Improvement Project Briefing △2024 First Half Major Business and Pledge Implementation Status Briefing △2025 New Policy Briefing.
According to the implementation status, of the 234 items, 82 (35%) have been completed, 138 (59%) are in progress, 12 (5%) are under long-term review, and 2 (1%) are not feasible.
Major directives included △Promotion of conversion to Dangjin Urban Corporation △Establishment of an integrated management system for funded and contributed organizations △Strengthening public relations for ongoing projects △Activation of agricultural waste collection and infrastructure expansion △Active investment attraction for Dobido and Nanjido development △Promotion of Korea-China joint drone agreement △Selection as a leading city for carbon neutrality △Active promotion of Sapgyoho drone show △Thorough preparation for the opening of Hapdeok Station △Activation of home-visit healthcare, among others.
Mayor Oh Seonghwan said, "Please produce results by promptly completing each task through interdepartmental cooperation and a proactive approach," and added, "Strengthen communication with citizens to enhance their trust in municipal administration, and continue to achieve leading administrative results through active public relations."
The city plans to continue regularly monitoring the implementation status of directives even after the briefing, striving to achieve municipal outcomes for regional development.
