Taean County Mayor Ko Gaero and Residents Participate in Mongsanpo Area Event

The Nam-myeon Residents' Autonomy Committee Program Presentation and Autumn Culture Day event was held on the 7th in the Mongsanpo area of Taean-gun, Chungnam.

About 300 people attended the event, including Nam-myeon residents, county officials such as County Governor Ko Gae-ro, the vice president and students of Hanseo University, as well as heads of local organizations and institutions.

This event, organized by the Nam-myeon Residents' Autonomy Committee, aimed to strengthen residents' autonomy capabilities and provide a venue for communication among residents in celebration of the fruitful autumn season.

Residents' autonomy programs such as band, Nanta, dance, singing, and pungmul performances were presented, including a performance by a Hanseo University club, receiving great applause. Various attractions, including invited singers' performances, also received positive responses.

County Governor Ko Gae-ro said, "Strengthening residents' capabilities is more important than anything else for the realization of practical grassroots democracy led by the residents themselves. I would like to thank the Nam-myeon Residents' Autonomy Committee for their efforts in preparing this event, and the county will also make various efforts to strengthen the capabilities of our residents."
