Co-Heads of Acquisition Team Rootnik: "Loyalty and Dedication"
Donald Trump, the President-elect of the United States, has begun forming his new administration starting with the announcement of Susie Wiles as White House Chief of Staff nominee, while Trump’s eldest son, considered a key figure in the next administration, has outlined personnel principles.
Donald Trump Jr. appeared on 'Fox & Friends' on the 7th (local time) and said, "I will actively participate in the transition of power," adding, "I want to make sure who the real players are, who will actually deliver the president’s message, and who does not think they know better than the legitimately elected president."
He continued, "I will make sure that such people are part of the Trump cabinet and administration."
Donald Trump Jr. previously stated during an event at the Republican National Convention last July that he wants veto power over personnel decisions in the next administration. He said, "I don’t want to designate and select just one person for a position of power," adding, "All I want to do is prevent someone who would be a disaster."
Currently, the Trump transition team is led by Linda McMahon, who served as the Administrator of the Small Business Administration in the first administration, and Howard Lutnick, CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald. Donald Trump Jr., his younger brother Eric Trump, and Vice President-elect JD Vance are participating as senior advisors.
CEO Lutnick previously stated in an interview with foreign media last month that individuals selected for the next Trump administration must prove their 'faithfulness' and 'loyalty' to President-elect Trump and his policies. He pointed out cases where officials from the first administration resigned or showed hostility toward Trump. He said, "Everyone will be on the same side, everyone will understand the policies, and we will assign roles based on their capabilities, faithfulness, and loyalty."
