On the 7th, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced that after investigating charges including intimidation, they found it difficult to recognize Jessi's involvement and thus decided not to prosecute.

The police obtained an arrest warrant for the foreign national Mr. A, the perpetrator, completed necessary immigration-related procedures, and reportedly requested Interpol to issue a warrant.

Producer Koala was found guilty of assault charges and was referred to the prosecution. The woman Mr. B, who was with Jessi at the time, was also decided not to be prosecuted as it was difficult to recognize charges such as intimidation against her.

Earlier, on September 29th, in Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, a minor fan approached Jessi to request a photo but was assaulted by a man Mr. A who was near Jessi.

At the time, Jessi tried to stop the assault and then left the scene. Later, when the police arrived at the scene and asked Jessi's party nearby about Mr. A's whereabouts, they reportedly answered that they did not know.

On the 12th of last month, Jessi posted on her social media (SNS), "I was too flustered by the sudden situation at the time and could not carefully consider the fan," adding, "I am making efforts to ensure that the perpetrator receives appropriate punishment."
