Tim Walz, the Governor of Minnesota who ran as the Democratic Party's vice presidential candidate in the United States, stated that campaigning alongside Vice President Kamala Harris was an honor and a privilege in his life.
According to The Hill on the 6th (local time), Walz said in a statement, "I am grateful to Vice President Harris for trusting me and choosing me as her running mate."
Walz expressed regret over the presidential election loss but said, "Campaigning by your side was an honor and a privilege in my life," and also thanked his supporters.
He said, "The outcome was not what we wanted, but I thank the millions of Americans who joined the campaign and supported the greatest ideals of courtesy, compassion, and love for our neighbors." He added, "Now, more than ever, you must continue to fight for these values and the country we all love."
