Godowon 'Dream Beyond Dream' · Youth Mentoring Academy Collaboration
On the 7th, the Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education signed a business agreement with the Morning Letter Culture Foundation at the main office's business room to promote reading and humanities education.
This agreement was pursued to establish broad governance with related organizations and strengthen support for reading and humanities education in the Jeonnam region, aiming for "Reading Jeonnam Education."

The two organizations agreed in the agreement to discover projects and collaborate on programs to enhance cooperation in reading and humanities education, support the operation of Godowon’s "Dream Beyond Dream Reading Education Program," run youth mentoring reading humanities academies, and conduct teacher capacity-building training.
The "Dream Beyond Dream Reading Education," which will be promoted from next year, is a program that supports students in realizing their dreams and beyond (dream beyond dream) through books. The Office of Education plans to launch this program as the "No. 1 Reading Culture Movement," starting with small schools.
Godowon, chairman of the Morning Letter Culture Foundation, began "Godowon's Morning Letter" in August 2001 and is currently famous as a writer who introduces morning quotes to subscribers. He is also dedicated to nurturing future global leaders through various reading camps such as the "Deep Mountain Lincoln School" for youth.
The reading camps share reading methods based on Chairman Godowon's past experience as a reporter for JoongAng Ilbo and secretary in charge of speeches for former President Kim Dae-jung, helping students not only read books but also express their thoughts verbally.
Chairman Godowon said, "With this agreement, the Morning Letter Culture Foundation has taken a step closer to the 'reading culture movement where the entire Republic of Korea reads books' that we dream of," adding, "We will strive to lay the foundation for Jeonnam students to grow through books."
Superintendent Kim Dae-jung expressed expectations, saying, "Former President Kim Dae-jung was also an avid reader. I believe this business agreement with the Morning Letter Culture Foundation will be a great help in nurturing Jeonnam children as leaders of the era like former President Kim."
