Operation of '4060 Job Skill UP' to Support Reemployment Success for Middle-Aged and Older Adults from Nov 13 to Dec 6

Yeongdeungpo-gu (Mayor Choi Ho-kwon) announced that it will operate the ‘4060 Employment Skill UP’ program to strengthen reemployment capabilities for middle-aged and older adults at a turning point in their lives through profile photography, style coaching, and more.
‘4060 Employment Skill UP’ is a project for middle-aged and older adults in their 40s to 60s who want to find reemployment but face difficulties at the doorstep of employment after a long absence. The program is designed to help middle-aged and older adults preparing for their second act after retirement adapt to the changing employment environment, including artificial intelligence (AI), and boost their confidence through practical, hands-on programs.
‘4060 Employment Skill UP’ will be held from November 13 to December 6 at the YDP Future Lifelong Learning Center. First, a career inclination analysis test (CIG16 diagnosis) specialized for middle-aged and older adults will be conducted, and employment strategies reflecting individual tendencies and the latest employment trends will be established.
Next, through ▲ resume writing using artificial intelligence (AI) ▲ interview lectures to help individuals appeal themselves ▲ style coaching and profile photography that convey trust ▲ and a ‘Talk Concert’ sharing success know-how from actual employment and entrepreneurship seniors, the program aims to support middle-aged and older adults in gaining confidence for reemployment.
Additionally, through counseling sessions lasting about three hours, participants can resolve personal employment concerns that have not yet been addressed. After the lectures, all support for middle-aged and older adults’ reemployment will be provided, including follow-up management online and provision of employment information.
Since the program received a favorable response last year, the district expects that this year’s ‘4060 Employment Skill UP’ will be useful not only for middle-aged and older adults seeking jobs that utilize their past experience but also for those who want to work in new fields.

Choi Ho-kwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo-gu, said, “We will strive to support various programs and expand job opportunities so that middle-aged and older adults seeking reemployment can cope with the rapidly changing work environment. Yeongdeungpo-gu will actively work to discover customized jobs by age and field, including for youth, seniors, and women, becoming a reliable employment supporter for residents.”
