Expansion of Nursing Care Services, Boosting Workers' Pride

Kim Hwajeong, Head Nurse at Samsung Changwon Hospital, Wins Top Award

The Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of the National Health Insurance Service (Head Choi Deok-geun) held an award ceremony for the Integrated Nursing Care Service Photo Contest at the regional headquarters on the 6th.

The contest was conducted to encourage the efforts of workers and promote the excellence of the system by accepting submissions from institutions providing Integrated Nursing Care Services located in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam from September 5 to the end of September.

A total of 73 entries submitted during the contest period underwent a two-stage review by internal and external judges, resulting in the selection of five winners (1 Grand Prize, 2 Excellence Awards, and 2 Encouragement Awards). The prestigious Grand Prize was awarded to Kim Hwajeong, Head Nurse at Samsung Changwon Hospital.

Head Choi Deok-geun stated, “The Integrated Nursing Care Service is an essential system to reduce the caregiving burden on citizens amid demographic and social changes,” and added, “I appreciate the hard work of the staff in integrated wards who strive to provide better inpatient services.”

The Service announced that it will do its best to expand the wards providing Integrated Nursing Care Services.
