Uijeongbu Lifelong Learning Center Successfully Concludes 'A Day in the Life of That Unique Gentleman'

5 Sessions of Classes for Men Aged 50 and Over

The Uijeongbu City Lifelong Learning Foundation (Director Yoo Sang-jin) announced on the 6th that the final class of the five-session program "A Day in the Life of a Different Gentleman" was successfully completed on the 5th.

This program was designed for middle-aged men over their 50s to promote healthy living and provide a space for communication after retirement. The five special lectures covered time management for living a uniquely stylish life, organizing skills, fashion styling, making side dishes, and personal alcohol brewing know-how.


A participant in the special lectures said, "I learned new things through expert lectures in various fields and enjoyed interacting with other participants," adding, "I realized that sharing and giving for family and neighbors after retirement is the way to become a truly distinguished gentleman."


Director Yoo Sang-jin of the Lifelong Learning Foundation stated, "Through this special lecture, we aimed to help men over 50 live healthy and vibrant lives even after retirement," and added, "We will continue to create a virtuous cycle where the city educates its citizens and supports their growth by offering various programs based on demand surveys, going beyond simple knowledge delivery to improve the quality of life for our citizens."
