Gijang-gun Jeonggwan-eup, Dagachi Childcare Union Daycare Center... Donates All Proceeds from Flea Market Sales

The Jeonggwan-eup Administrative Welfare Center in Gijang-gun, Busan (Eupjang Song Young-jong) recently announced on the 6th that Lotte Castle 2nd Children's House (Director Kim In-sook), Yeonji Children's House (Director Min Ji-hee), Jeonggwan Children's House (Director Jeon Ok-mi), Kids Club Children's House (Director Jung Hee-jin), and Pulkkot Children's House (Director Han Myung-soon) donated 1.02 million KRW from the proceeds of a flea market to support low-income families in the area.

These children's houses are part of the multi-value childcare cooperative supported by the Gijang-gun Childcare Comprehensive Support Center. They strive to improve operational efficiency and the quality of childcare services through sharing, coexistence, and cooperation among the childcare centers.

The five aforementioned children's houses held an Ana-bada market on the 24th of last month in the front yard of Jeonggwan Dongil 1st Apartment. Teachers, parents, and children collected valuable items to sell, and the proceeds of 1.02 million KRW were donated to the Jeonggwan-eup Administrative Welfare Center.

The directors of the participating children's houses said, "This was a meaningful event where five children's houses came together under the slogan of multi-value childcare," and added, "We will continue to practice neighborly love for vulnerable groups."

Song Young-jong, the head of Jeonggwan-eup, expressed gratitude, saying, "We thank the teachers, parents, and children of the children's houses who shared warm affection," and added, "We will do our best to create a happy Jeonggwan-eup together with many people who voluntarily participate in sharing activities."

The donated amount of 1.02 million KRW will be used as a special project fund by the Jeonggwan-eup Community Security Council to promote welfare for vulnerable groups in Jeonggwan-eup through the Fruit of Love campaign.
