The Digital Nations ministerial meeting is a consultative body of leading digital government countries established in 2014. This year's 11th meeting was held under the theme 'Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a Growth Engine.'

Accordingly, Minister Lee delivered a speech on the theme of 'Artificial Intelligence for Growth and Competitiveness' and held bilateral talks with Caroline Stage Olsen, Minister of Digitalization of Denmark and chairperson of Digital Nations, and Perial Clark, UK Minister for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Government, respectively, to strengthen bilateral cooperation with digital leading countries.

The Ministry of the Interior and Safety shared public sector AI policies, a common area of interest, through bilateral talks and proposed the active use of the 'Digital Governance Research Group' as a practical cooperation measure for continuous policy exchange between countries. Minister Lee said, "Korea is a world-recognized leading digital government country, and we will actively share our digital government's development experience and policies at the request of the international community."

Meanwhile, after completing his schedule in Copenhagen, Minister Lee will move to Paris, France, and on the 6th, meet Matthias Cormann, Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Secretariat, to discuss the Korean government's cooperation plans for the development of developing countries in the field of digital government.
