The meeting was attended by Kim Myojeong, a member of the Changwon City Council, as well as Choi Daeseok, head of the Changwon City Sports Promotion Division, who shared the corporation’s plan to reorganize the sports facility operation system for the next year.

In May, the corporation launched the ‘Sports Facility Innovation Renewal Promotion Team’ led by Kim Jaehyun, Director of Management Support Office, to explore customer-centered sports facility operations and management efficiency measures.

The operation system reorganization plan prepared by the promotion team consists of 12 action tasks across three areas: realistic adjustment of usage fees, facility environment improvement, and management efficiency measures.

Representative action tasks include ▲introducing a six-month re-registration limit system to ensure fairness in facility usage ▲establishing a waiting reservation system for class applications ▲realistic adjustment of fees for swimming, health, and community sports ▲introducing weekend break times at swimming pools, among others.

Prior to this, the corporation held a feedback and discussion session on the promotion team’s action tasks with 15 participants, including the Citizen Monitoring Group and representatives of users from each sports facility.

Chairman Kim Jonghae stated, “Through the improved operation system plan prepared this time, we will do our best to enhance services so that citizens can use sports facilities more conveniently and reasonably.”
