A private rental project operator in Ssangryeong-dong, Gwangju-si, Gyeonggi-do, announced that it is planning a plogging event at Cheongseok Park in December as part of its community environmental cleanup activities.
Plogging is an activity of picking up litter on the streets while jogging. It is spreading throughout society to practice ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) values and take the lead in solving environmental issues.
The operator plans to walk around Cheongseok Park in Gwangju-si in December, collecting carelessly discarded household waste such as cigarette butts, plastic bottles, beverage cans, and bags, reaffirming its commitment to environmental protection for a clean environment and local development.
An official from the operator said, “As a responsible company, we planned this campaign to voluntarily carry out environmental cleanup activities,” adding, “We will continue to actively promote various eco-friendly activities to lead community development and environmental protection.”
