Sancheong-gun Wins Two Events at Gyeongnam Province Sports for All Festival

Governor Lee Seunghwa Visits Site to Offer Encouragement

Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam Province announced on the 5th that it won first place in two events at the 35th Gyeongnam Province Sports for All Festival.

The festival, held from the 1st to the 3rd in Tongyeong City, saw Sancheong-gun send a delegation of 514 athletes competing in 17 events.

County Governor Lee Seunghwa is visiting the site to encourage the general division tennis gymnastics athletes.

As a result of the competition, Sancheong-gun earned the Sports 7330 Participation Award and took first place in the Senior Tennis Division and the General Gymnastics Division.

Additionally, the Senior Soccer Division and the General Baseball Division secured second place.

In particular, County Governor Lee Seunghwa personally visited the venue to encourage the athletes and urged fair competition without injuries.

Governor Lee stated, “We will continue to strive to promote the health of our residents through the activation of sports for all.”
