NHN Enterprise and Seoul National University Join Forces to Promote Cloud Computing

NHN Cloud announced on the 5th that its subsidiary NHN Enterprise has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Seoul National University to promote cloud computing services.

Through this MOU, NHN Enterprise will participate in Cloud First. Cloud First is a program by Seoul National University that supports undergraduate students, graduate students, professors, and other members to use cloud services at affordable costs in response to the increasing usage of cloud services on campus.

NHN Enterprise will build various services for Seoul National University members using solutions from NHN Cloud and its affiliates, including NHN Enterprise and NHN Jaei INC.

NHN Enterprise will support Seoul National University members in building and conveniently utilizing cloud infrastructure. It will also assist in easily establishing private clouds, which require more sophisticated technology and setup conditions. Additionally, NHN Enterprise will provide cloud-native environment construction and operation services.

Kim Dong-hoon, CEO of NHN Enterprise, stated, "With this agreement, we will expand the scope of cloud service provision to academia, following the public, financial, and private sectors, and realize efficiency in research and education."
