Man in his 30s Detained and Sent to Prosecution for Threatening Apartment Neighbor with a Weapon

A man in his 30s who threatened an unfamiliar apartment neighbor with a weapon was handed over to the prosecution while in custody.

On the 4th, the Nowon Police Station in Seoul announced that they had sent Mr. A, a man in his 30s, to prosecution in custody on the 30th of last month on charges of special intimidation.

Mr. A is accused of threatening a neighbor with a weapon at an apartment in Nowon-gu, Seoul, around 10:40 p.m. on the 26th of last month.

The police responded to the report and arrested Mr. A at the scene. The two individuals did not know each other, and it was investigated that Mr. A pulled out a weapon after an argument broke out.

A police official stated, "He was not under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crime," and added, "We cannot confirm whether he has a criminal record or any history of mental illness."
